Disney's fun-filled summer specials

MANILA, Philippines - Things are heating up on Disney Channel in April.

Join your favorite pranksters and laugh-out loud starting with an April’s Fool Day special on April 1 from 12 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. The special day of laughter and silly fun presents special episodes of Phineas & Ferb’s Spot the Difference, Muppet Treasure Island, Upin & Ipin, Oggy and the Cockroaches and Mr. Bean. Hilarious Disney movies that include A Goofy Movie, Bolt and The Wild follow respectively.

On April 2, from 12 noon to 9:30 p.m., there are happy movies that will keep you glued to your seats — Bolt, An Extremely Goofy Movie, The Wild and Finding Nemo.

On April 10, 9 p.m. the musical series I’m in the Band premieres. Witness how 15-year-old Tripp Campbell wins a radio contest to have dinner with his favorite band, Iron Weasel. His dream suddenly comes true when he manages to impress Iron Weasel with his musical skills and miraculously lands the lead guitar role.

In anticipation of World Cup 2010, the series premiere of Supa Strikas follows on April 24, 12:30 p.m. The exciting animation about the world’s greatest football team will definitely keep you watching week after week.
