Ynna's birthday wish come true

MANILA, Philippines - On the day she turned 18 last Sept. 25, Ynna Asistio realized her wish of becoming a GMA star. She’s now starring in the light romance-drama Dear Friend with JC de Vera and Jewel Mische, playing the role of a mental retardate with amazing credibility.

At her debut held at the Philippine Stock Exchange auditorium, the Asistios, led by Ynna’s parents Boy Asistio and Nadia Montenegro, were all accounted for. Among Ynna’s well-wishers were GMA execs Joey Abacan and Annette Gozon-Abrogar. The debutante was surrounded by friends, too, and the men who matter in her life, including her dad Boy, and JC de Vera, Mark Herras, Joey Marquez and Paolo Contis.

‘I was just sad that the next day, Typhoon Ondoy came,’ said Ynna.
