John-Priscilla Christian wedding set for 2011

MANILA, Philippines - Yes, it’s confirmed...by no less than John Estrada and Priscilla Meirelles themselves.... that he has proposed marriage to her and she accepted it whole-heartedly.

“It’s about time,” John told Funfare Thursday night (eve of his birthday, today) during the salu-salo at the Club Filipino marking the 40th day after the death of his manager Douglas Quijano. “I’m sure that I have found the best woman for me. She’s the last woman in my life,” added John whose marriage to Janice de Belen (also present at Club Filipino) was annulled. The ex-couple have four children (excluding Iggy Boy, Janice’s son by Aga Muhach whom John treats as his own.)

The two have been going steady for more than two years. They plan to have a Christian wedding sometime in 2011.

As Funfare reported yesterday, John surprised Priscilla (2004 Miss Earth) with the proposal after she came back from an extended vacation in her native Brazil.

The two were lovey-dovey during the Club Filipino affair. Also present were Douglas’ other talents including Jomari Yllana and Gelli de Belen and Richard Gomez.
