New shows, giveaways from Cartoon Network & Toonami on SKYcable

Cartoon Network presents Uncle Grandpa. He is everyone’s magical uncle and grandpa who travels around helping people and changing their lives forever. He attempts to solve various problems with the help of his friends, Mr. Gus, Pizza Steve, Giant Realistic Flying Tiger, and Belly Bag. Together, they embark on exciting adventures on board The RV, his magical home on wheels, which can drive on its own and contains an endless playhouse of strange and crazy rooms.

To participate in the promo, watch Uncle Grandpa Monday nights at 6 on Cartoon Network and answer the question posted on SKYcable’s official Facebook Fanpage (www.facebook.com/MySKYCable). Promo will run until June 26 and is open to all SKYcable subscribers in Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna and Bulacan.

Another new animated series to watch out for is Beware the Batman, airing exclusively on Toonami. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, Beware the Batman is a CG-animated series based on the DC comic superhero, Batman. The series portrays the Dark Knight in his early days as Batman, as he takes on the criminals of Gotham City together with his allies, former CIA agent-turned-swordsman, Tatsu “Katana” Yamashiro and retired operative, Alfred Pennyworth.

Catch Beware the Batman starting June 7 at 6:30 p.m. SKYcable subscribers of Bronze 299 may also enjoy the newest program by availing of the Toonami channel via SELECT for only P20 or by upgrading to a plan that includes the said channel until June 29. By doing so, subscribers of the weekly-covered period automatically qualify for a promo. A total of 30 Limited Edition Toonami Skateboards and Headphones will be given away among qualified subscribers nationwide within the promo period.
