Mustangs plunge back into action

CEBU, Philippines — After a two-week rest, the Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges (CRMC) Mustangs will plunge back into action against the Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) Wildcats in the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) Season 23 Men's Basketball Tournament today at the Cebu Coliseum.

The Mustangs hope to keep the very slim chance of making it to the Final Four alive in their 6:45 p.m. duel against the Wildcats.

The Mustangs are currently at seventh spot in the college division standings with a 3-4 win-loss record while the Wildcats are just a notch lower with a 2-6 slate.

In the 5:15 p.m. opener, the City of Bogo Science and Arts Academy will try to extend their hot streak to four games as they battle against the University of San Carlos (USC) Baby Warriors.

The Trailblazers are on a three-game winning roll since an awful 0-4 start. They will tackle the Baby Warriors, who have only one victory to show in eight starts.
