Sambag 1 nails first victory
CEBU, Philippines — Barangay Sambag 1 men’s and women’s squad both scored victory in their respective divisions in the Cebu City Inter-Barangay Volleyball tournament the other day at the Barangay Ramos gym.
Sambag I men’s volleyball team overpowered Capitol Site in the North District in straight sets, 25-23, 17-25,25-12, while Sambag 1 lady spikers blasted Cogon Ramos, 25-12, 25-8.
Sambag II also had a straight sets victory over Capitol Site, 25-14, 25-14.
Over at the Tejero Gym, Tinago men’s team handed Brgy. San Roque its first loss, 25-15, 25-21, while home team Tejero battered Lorega, 25-9, 25-6.
The Tejero ladies, on the other hand, also won their game against Lorega, 25-13, 16-25 and 25-20, in the women’s side
Meanwhile, Agsungot conquered Mabini, 25-11, 19-25, 25-13, to clinch its first win in the women’s division held at the Agsungot Sports Complex.
