Miranda, Osada top CETBA monthly
CEBU, Philippines — Micmic Miranda and Emi Osada topped the August edition of the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) Friday Group monthly tournament over the weekend at the SM City-Cebu Bowling Center.
Miranda lorded it over the men’s division after posting the highest output of 1,042 in the five-game series.
Rey Velarde settled for second place with 1,042 followed by Tony Torres with 1,019 pins.
Rounding up the top 10 finishers were Ging Francisco (1,015), Fred Torrequemada (1,000), Ronnan Barredo (998), Docdoc Gothong (996), Rene Ceniza (992), Rommel Calipay (986) and Boy Gacho (980).
Osada, on the other hand, knocked down 1,035 pins to snare the women’s crown.
Senior bowlers Baby Bacon and Cynthia Uybengkee took the second and third spots with 1,031 and 1,030 pinfalls, respectively.
Fourth to sixth placers were Cristilyn Tan (978), Johna Calipay (794) and Erica Kim (790).
