P60T up for grabs in first PMAP Run

CEBU, Philippines - Close to P60,000 in cash prize is at stake for the winners of the 1st Peoples Managers Association of the Philippines (PMAP) and Philippine Association of Secretaries (PAS) Synergy Run on November 18 at Parkmall grounds in Mandaue City.

Featuring the 3K, 6K, 12K and 21K categories, the fund-raising event is for the benefit of My Bonita Home for Girls and scholars of Tulay National High School.

The organizers are expecting over 2,000 runners to join the race. The vaunted Kenyans are allowed to compete only in the 12K division.

“This is also a way for the members of our two organizations who are mostly secretaries, human resource and administrative and managerial employees to bond,” said PMAP president Jonah Lafuerte in a press conference yesterday at the Cebu Parklane International Hotel.

Entry fee is pegged at P300 for 3K, P350 for 6K, P450 for 12K and P550 for 21K. Students who will run in either 3K or 6K will get a P100 discount.  (FREEMAN)
