Noy Cacoy promotes 5 foreign eskrima disciples into masters

CEBU - Cacoy Doce Pares World Eskrima Pangamot Federation president Grandmaster Ciriaco “Cacoy” Cañete promoted five of his disciples to masters the other day.

Four of them are Australians, while the other one is a German national.

The Australians are Michael Barker, Diony Tijadillo, Omar Paulo and Michael Escario, while the lone German is Robias Ricker.

They were formally elevated into their new ranks during the Cacoy Doce Pares reunion graced by Acting Cebu City Mayor Mike Rama last January 10. (GGM)   (THE FREEMAN)
