Bootfests to mark Don Bosco’s 54th anniversary

A football extravaganza will highlight Don Bosco’s 54th founding anniversary fired off by the 11-aside men’s open tournament beginning tomorrow at the Don Bosco Seminary football field.

The 11-aside tournament will run until Friday with the championship game.

Following the tournament will be the 12-under and 17-under competition on January 12 and 13.

The culminating event in this year’s founding day celebration is the men and women futsal tournament that starts on January 28 and ends on January 31, the feast day of St. John Bosco.

Don Bosco football coach Glenn Ramos and Robert “Kidd” Nicart of Don Bosco Alumni Association are the event’s organizers.   — Marigold Lebumfacil, Correspondent.
