The latest apprehensions were made yesterday morning. A tourist van operating as GT Express and two multicabs operating as public transport without franchise were apprehended at the South Coastal Road in Laray, Talisay City.
"The three colorum vehicles will serve a 3-month impoundment with penalties of P200,000 for the van and P50,000 for each of the multicabs," Cuizon said.
The other night, they also apprehended one colorum van for violating the terms of its tourist franchise by ferrying Naga-bound passengers on a per-head basis. Cuizon said that majority of those apprehended were GT vans bound for Bogo City and Daanbantayan in the north and Naga, Oslob and Santander in the south.
"Ambot pud ani nila nga kadaku sa penalty for colorum magsigi man gihapon og operate aning mga colorum. On our part, padayon ang among pagpanakop aning mga colorum," Cuizon said.
