CEBU, Philippines - Three alleged drug users were caught while having a shabu session in an abandoned hospital in Barangay Poblacion, Madridejos, Cebu last Thursday afternoon.
Goneforte Abello, 22, single and resident of barangay Mancilang, Madridejos, Ronan Tornea, 29, single and Rene Jista, 41, married and both residents of Poblacion, Madridejos were arrested for using illegal drugs.
According to the desk officer of the Madridejos Police Station, PO2 Victor Benido, a concerned citizen reported to the station that a group of persons were sniffing illegal drugs at the said building.
PO1 Jeffrey Barco and PO1 Eugene Santillan verified the report, and caught the three in the act of having a shabu session.
Recovered from the suspects were three empty small plastic packs, three pieces assorted lighters and two small pieces of rolled tin foil.
The suspects are now temporarily detained while the police ready the appropriate charges against them in court. — /JPM (FREEMAN)
