Bloodletting

CEBU, Philippines - The 560th Air Base Wing conducted its 1st Quarter bloodletting activity recently at the Base Gymnasium, of MBEAB, Lapu-Lapu City in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Mactan headed by Mrs. Maita Manglapuz and Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC-7) headed by Dr. Amour Cielo A. Cantillas.

The blood collected will be stored at the PNRC-7 blood bank for future use, especially intended for the less fortunate residents of Cebu province.

The bloodletting is in line with the PAF Core Values InSTEP (Integrity, Service, Teamwork, Excellence and Professionalism) under “Service to the people.” A total of 45,000 cc of blood was collected from students of Philippine State College of Aeronautics, PAF personnel in the Visayas (560th Air Base Wing, 220th Airlift Wing and 205th Tactical Helicopter Wing), and some members of the Rotary Club of Mactan. Brigadier General Edgardo C.
