Not All “Tumbok” Are Malas!

NO NONSENSE FENG SHUI - Feng Shui Master Aldric Dalumpines - The Freeman

It is a popular myth in feng shui that it’s bad luck to be located in a street dead-end property or “tumbok.”

Actually, it depends… on the feng shui defense!

Some by fluke have a natural defense already, such as a tree or post facing the dead-end street. Others have to resort to feng shui mirrors!

The best is to allow the street to continue into the property in a controlled auspicious manner like “breaking line” in martial arts or aikido.

Either by elevated parking space on the ground floor design or basement, or simply a calculated driveway all the way to the back of the property!

A classic example is the Red Planet, formerly Tunes Hotel, building in Cebu in front of the Ayala mall.  It’s being “tumbok” was cured by its driveway!

Thus, not all “tumbok” property are bad feng shui!  A slight remedy can convert it to a veritable cash cow.

The only financial downside in such property is that most commercial banks lend against it as collateral with the loanable value discounted further by 30 percent!

In my practice I continue to certify some properties as not “tumbok” for loan purposes.

Other “tumbok” positive uses for some clients is if they are, say, widower and don’t like to get married anymore, the “tumbok” property is best for them.

There you are. Have no fear for umbok” types of property, as it can be remedied with the right feng shui treatment!
