Quota Flower Fest in high gear

CEBU, Philippines -  The Quota Club International of Metro Cebu will be holding the coronation night of its Festival of Flowers this coming May 16 at the Grand Convention Center.

The final counting for the annual search is today, March 21, at the Sacred Heart Center.

Josephine V. Mapeso, president of QCI Metro Cebu, said proceeds from the activity will go to disadvantaged women in the community, as well as hearing and speech impaired children.

Last year, the beneficiaries were the Kahupayan Women's Center of Bishop Julito Cortes at the Beato Pedro Calungsod Parish in Cantabaco, Toledo City and two day-care centers in Labangon. (PR)
