'Nasaan Ka Elisa?' continues to dominate primetime

-

CEBU, Philippines - There’s no doubt that ABS-CBN’s most talked about teleserye “Nasaan Ka Elisa” wins in the primetime TV block, as it thrashes its competing program in the other television network and made it to the coveted list of most watched TV programs.

According to Kantar Media/TNS, “Nasaan Ka Elisa?” obtained a total of 29.1% in the ratings game against the competitor’s 20.6% last September 23.

The hit teleserye, starring Melissa Ricks (Elisa Altamira), also gained the fourth place of Kantar’s list of most appreciated TV programs, alongside with “100 Days To Heaven” (34.4%), and “My Binondo Girl” (30.0).

Proving that many Filipinos have joined the search for the missing Elisa, the show’s hotline was bombarded with phone calls from people who are all claiming that the lady is with them. But nothing has been revealed—except for the other casts’ real characters—because right now, Elisa has not yet been found.

“Nasaan Ka Elisa?” also continues to receive good reviews from different media sectors.

Veteran columnist and Film/TV director Ronald Caraballo said: “This new approach to teleseryes fits the needs of Filipino audience—written intelligently, well crafted and moving performances. What a brilliant and unpredictable teleserye!”

TV host Bianca Gonzales wrote on her Twitter account (iamsuperbianca): "I'm really liking #NasaanKaElisa! its gripping and intriguing! Everyone is a suspect!"

Even multi-awarded broadcast journalist Ted Failon of “Failon Ngayon” and “TV Patrol” opts to talk about “Nasaan Ka, Elisa” almost every day on his program on DZMM 630.

Her venture in a daring role may be a gamble for Melissa, but it’s all worth it as many are getting hooked with her performance in the series. She feels honored to have been lined up with premier co-actors.

Meanwhile, drama, suspense and mystery continue in “Nasaan Ka Elisa?,” as her family goes to more rigorous means in their search for her.
