CEBU, Philippines - Our female candidate Marie Antonette Nellas is a Bachelor in Tourism Management student in Cebu Normal University where she is currently the Director of Tourism Artist Circle. Beauty pageant is something new to this 18-year-old girl. And Ms. Olive-C Campus Model 2011 is her first pageant.
Marie does not have the courage to face the crowd. She said that the reason of her discomfort is that she is primarily a shy person. Big thanks to her friends who convinced her to join.
“My friends kept on telling me to join pageants like this. And I kept on refusing. I'm so scared to compete with other pretty ladies. They told me that there's no harm in trying so I decided to try and join. Now, I am enjoying every minute of it and this pageant really helps me develop my confidence,” Marie explained.
Now, she has faith in herself and this has given her a new courage to face life confidently. This will also help her during the coronation event. Marie describes herself as an independent woman. She is also the loving type.
Despite her hectic schedules, Marie never fails to give enough time for her studies. She still manages to get a good grade in school which is more important to her. Marie also shared that this search is a great way for her to make new friends.
