Kris Aquino's P40 million condo unit up for sale

Latest juicy pick from the grapevine: Kris Aquino is selling her condo unit in Makati. The price tag: a cool P40 million. Kris and her family had briefly occupied the unit before she and James Yap separated.

Does that mean that Kris will be sharing the proceeds from the sale with James? I assume she bought the unit after she and James married, so that makes it conjugal property.

Just last week Kris admitted that she regretted ignoring her mom Cory’s advice to have a pre-nuptial agreement before marrying James. The former president had suggested the pre-nup to protect the assets of Kris’ son Joshua.

Kris also confided that she and James can never be friends again. She would just be civil to her ex, and that’s about it.

Apparently she has no qualms about being friends with Vicki Belo again. Kris is back as an endorser of Belo Medical Group. The two were bosom buddies until rumors surfaced that James was making out with one of Belo’s employees, Hope Centeno.

Still on Kris, Friday was to have been her last day for hosting Pilipinas Win na Win, but she decided to skip the show and head out of town instead.

Her destination: Manaoag church. “Left 3 AM . Made it for full Rosary & Mass in Manaoag. I wanted to start the month w/ a spiritual effort. I need Mama Mary's intercession to help me become even closer to Jesus. The trip was long but so fulfilling!” Kris tweeted.

The Queen of All Media had been yanked out of the show to make way for a new set of all-male hosts. Taking over beginning tomorrow are Rico J. Puno, Rey Valera, Marco Sison and Nonoy Zuñiga.

ABS-CBN is hoping the quartet would revive the flagging noontime show. Pilipinas Win na Win has never really hit its stride and has been suffering from anemic ratings. The earlier departure of mainstays Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez to get married in India further compounded the show’s problems.

Will the four veteran singers turn the show around? I know for a fact that Rico J. knows how to work an audience and tease them with risqué jokes. Rey, Marco and Nonoy will have keep up with him.

Miss Universe 4th runner-up Venus Raj and Binibining Pilipinas International Krista Kleiner both showed up at the send-off party for Bb. Pilipinas World Czarina Gatbonton, brushing aside rumors that Venus and Krista were not on talking terms.

The buzz was that Krista suspects Venus of masterminding a petition on a social networking site to strip her of her title.

Venus has publicly denied she’s been playing a dirty trick on Krista. “They’re trying to make it appear there’s tension between the two of us. That’s not true. We won’t be getting along fine if there are disagreements between us,” said Venus.

Krista believes her fellow beauty queen is not capable of stabbing her in the back, but she admits she was affected by the supposed petition.

Perhaps the rumor persists because of Krista’s supposed involvement in the brouhaha over Venus’ birth certificate which came under scrutiny for allegedly being dubious. Venus was temporarily stripped of her crown while the issue was being investigated by Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. Venus was subsequently cleared and went on to finish 4th runner-up in the Miss Universe pageant.
