CEBU, Philippines - Players in the leather industry of the country are invited to visit China on September 1-3 and participate in three trade events to learn more about the new technology applications in the industry as well as to start gaining access to the Chinese market.
According to a statement, the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE), China International Footwear Fair and Moda Shanghai, which will be held in the New Shanghai New Expo Center, will showcase a complete range of leather making products and services. Exhibits include raw material hides and skins, semi- and finished-leather, exotic leathers, tannery machinery, chemical companies and suppliers of services such as CAD/CAM and local and overseas trade organizations, footwear and a variety of finished products.
ACLE in particular, will reflect the maturity of China’s leather industry as it “sets to continue its expansion, not only in volume but, significantly, in terms of range, quality and innovation.”

China’s leather industry is the world’s largest - which it has been for some years - but is now moving increasingly ‘up-market’. Demand for the very latest products, innovations and trends from around the world are greater than ever.”
ACLE is one of the recognized platforms for the global leather industry to access China ’s burgeoning domestic market. The exhibition provides the country’s largest variety of leather, components & accessories, manufacturing equipment and tools, machinery and technology and business services. Held once a year, it runs in conjunction with the finished products fairs China International Footwear Fair (CIFF) and Moda Shanghai.
