Strong GMPh after sales rallies behind new Chevrolet vehicles

General Motors Automobiles Philippines, Inc. (GMPh) is unleashing a stronger after sales program in support of the introduction of its new Chevrolet vehicles.

"Chevrolet is GM’s most valuable brand. In 2002, it sold 3.6 million units worldwide. This figure reflects the brand’s reliability and excellent after-sales support which defines how GM provides vehicle ownership experience," says James Lim, president and general manager of GMPh. "GM is not only providing customers with world class and innovative products, but it is also a company that gives consumers value for their money when it comes to car care and maintenance. This is important if we want repeat customers."

Two new GMPh after sales programs are on hand for buyers of the newly-launched Chevrolet vehicles.

First, GMPh is offering a three-year or 100,000 kilometer warranty period on the Chevrolet Optra and Aveo. This means that GMPh will shoulder repairs to correct any vehicle defect related to materials or workmanship occurring during the warranty period. Needed repairs will be performed using new or remanufactured parts. The warranty period begins on the date the vehicle is first delivered or put in use.

Second, GMPh is offering free Periodic Maintenance Service (PMS) for two years or within their cars’ 30,000 kilometer-run. Currently, GMPh is the only car company in the market to offer this service to its customers. "This program ensures our customers with worry-free maintenance," opines Mike Nacua, after sales director at GMPh. "At GM, we always implement programs to ensure that our customers not only get the best cars and but the best services as well."

The passenger sedan Chevrolet Optra and the 5-door hatchback Chevrolet Aveo are available at GM AutoWorld retailers in Makati, Quezon Avenue, Shaw Boulevard and Cebu and also at the newly-opened Chevrolet showroom in Pampanga and soon in Pasig and Davao.
