MANILA, Philippines – Food processing company GenOSI celebrated its 25th anniversary last December 2015.
“Back when we started the company, we had the best food technology and invested in a lot of great equipment. All that stainless steel, however, does not make a company successful,” said GenOSI President Wilfred Uytengsu, Jr. during the company’s celebration.
“It’s the dedication, commitment and perseverance of our people that have enabled us to be one of the best protein suppliers in the country.”
GenOSI processes beef, pork, chicken, and fish items for restaurant chains here and abroad. It is a joint venture of General Milling Corp., Alaska Corp. and OSI Group, founded in 1990.
It started with supplying 31 restaurants, and today, GenOSI is working with nearly 500 restaurants.
GenOSI has also launched its own product line, Country Pride, which includes hamburger, chicken, sausage patties and chicken nuggets.
