Alcala inspect BAPTC

MANILA, Philippines - Agriculture Secretary Proceso Alcala (center) tours one of the nearly-completed  buildings inside the P655-million state-of-the-art Benguet Agri-Pinoy Trading Complex  with Assistant Secretary for Agribusiness and Marketing Leandro Gazmin. Located in a four-hectare land owned by the Benguet State University in La Trinidad, the complex includes three huge buildings that will house trading spaces  and processing facilities for highland vegetables such as carrots, lettuce and broccoli. It will  also include dry and cold storage facilities and a dormitory to house farmers and traders from outside Benguet.
