LIST: International flights canceled due to ‘Paolo’

MANILA, Philippines — A number of international flights were grounded on Sunday due to the bad weather caused by weather disturbance “Paolo” (International name: Lan.)

The Metro Manila International Airport Authority said some flights of carriers Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific headed to Japan and Taiwan were canceled.

At 1:00 a.m., Typhoon Paolo exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility as it gears towards Japan. Despite this, the weather bureau forecasted that the typhoon intensified as it headed to the other country prompting cancelation of flights

Here are the canceled flights for Sunday, October 22:

PAL

  • PR 408 – Manila to Kansai

  • PR 432 – Manila to Narita

  • PR 438 – Manila to Nagoya

  • PR 896 – Manila to Taipei

  • PR 897 – Taipei to Manila

Cebu Pacific

  • 5J 5038 – Manila to Nagoya

  • 5J 828 – Manila to Kansai

  • 5J 827 – Kansai to Manila
