MANILA, Philippines – Christmas is right around the corner in Makati this November as Century City Mall in Kalayaan Avenue celebrates its second Yuletide season with a dazzling Christmas décor and a series of joyful activities.
Officially jumpstarting the festive season in the mall is the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony last Nov. 6 at the 4th Level al fresco area. Adorned with reindeer and holiday decors, the Christmas Tree will be hard to miss as it stands amid Century City Mall’s spacious 4th Level atrium.
The Mall of Modern Makati will be decked with delightful ornaments in themes of red, white, gold, and green guaranteed to bring holiday warmth and cheer to mallgoers. Garlands accentuated with bright lights and fancy décor will be hung around the mall sending off holiday vibes to everyone passing by.
At the ground floor, a cluster of small Christmas trees flanked by reindeer and balls are housed under a life-sized gift frame. Kids can also meet and greet Santa at his favorite corner right next to the Christmas trees every Sunday for the month of November and December.
Adding more fun and excitement to shoppers, Century City Mall has prepared an array of delightful surprises to the community.
Following its huge success last year, the Kiss and Tell promo is back. Take a creative selfie (or a groupie) under a huge mistletoe located at the designated kiss and tell photo booth, and get a chance to win free cinema tickets. Winners of the promo will be announced at the Century City Mall Facebook and Instagram page (@centurymallph) so come in your gutsiest outfit and wackiest smile during your photo-op!
A Happy Reindeer Hunt will take place every weekend of November and December. A story unfolds around the decors making them an interactive game for kids and their parents to play every Saturday. Each reindeer or group of reindeers will have a story connected to them. The stories will be in small signage beside the décor and will eventually act as clues to solving the weekly riddle. The first 20 kids to answer the riddle will bring home an adorable Century City Mall reindeer stuffed toy.
