MANILA, Philippines - The peso slid against the dollar midday Wednesday, settling at 43.426 from the previous day's 43.36.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $336.4 million in the morning, higher than the $318.1 million posted on Monday.
The peso opened Wednesday at 43.44.
