MANILA, Philippines - Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC), the property arm of the Gokongwei-owned JG Summit Holdings Inc., is building two 40-story residential towers at the heart of the Ortigas financial district.
The Pearl Place project will offer a total of 1,502 residential condominium units to rise on a 3,000-square meter lot along Pearl Drive beside the University of Asia and the Pacific and just a few blocks away from the Philippine Stock Exchange at the Tektite Towers.
A majority of 1,176 units will be studio-type dwellings with a size of 24 square meters. The balance comprises 226 one-bedroom units and 100 two-bedroom units. The units cost about P66,000 per square meter.
The project, which will be under the Robinsons Communities brand, is targeted for completion in 2014.
“The Pearl Place appeals mostly to young career professionals and businessmen who prefer to be independent and to have their own space. Starting families will also find this exclusive community suitable to build their home,” said Rouen Raz, Robinsons Communities vice-president for sales and marketing.
Raz said the project is affordable, having the most competitive price package within its area. Properties in Ortigas currently range from P80,000 to P120,000 per sqm.
Raz added that various housing packages may be obtained from all RLC – accredited banks such as Robinsons Savings Bank, BPI, Metrobank, BDO, PSBank, Land Bank and HSBC.
The Pearl Place will offer various amenities such as 24-hour security, swimming pool, summit lounge, fitness center and function rooms. The ground floor will have 800 sqm of space reserved for commercial leasing with tenants ranging from small restaurants and fastfood chains, convenience stores and laundry shops.
While The Pearl Place is in the heart of the Ortigas central business district and very near Makati and Bonifacio Global City, Raz pointed out that the area is actually quiet enough for homeowners to experience suburban living.
The Robinsons Communities brand has been successful in providing affordable yet high value housing options.
