PEP helps promote environmental protection

MANILA, Philippines - Premiere Entertainment Philippines Inc., (PEP) has signed a memorandum of understanding in relation to Nueva Ecija’s project to promote environmental protection and green technology.

PEP disclosed to the Philippine Stock Exchange the signing of the project involving the construction of an electric powered vehicle plant and showroom which will be located within Cabanatuan. The two parties will work together and collaborate to supply the needed 17,800 units of electric powered vehicles that include patrol cars for barangay officials, tricycles for transport groups, jeepneys for the Nueva Ecija Transport Group and agricultural machines/patrol cars for cooperative and farmers group.

PEP chairman and chief executive officer, Jung Ku Lee, welcomed the proposal of Cabanatuan mayor Alvin P. Vergara as a boost to the company’s expansion plans while helping the city on it project in the “War on Waste and Clean Air Act” and generate jobs in the locality.

PEP is a publicly listed corporation duly registered in the Philippines and engaged in the business of information technology, entertainment, leisure and other businesses, with its shares fully listed and traded in the Philippine Stock Exchange.
