Embahada sa New Zealand ipinasosoli balotang 'burado' ilang kandidato
MANILA, Philippines — Nagsalita na ang Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Wellington sa New Zealand kaugnay ng ilang paratang sa social media na wala ang pangalan ng isang kandidato sa pagkapangulo sa ilang voting ballot.
Una nang kumalat ang balitang hindi makita ang pangalan ng presidential candidate na si Bise Presidente Leni Robredo sa ilang balota sa Philippine Embassy sa New Zealand.
"Anyone who claims that they have recieved a ballot with an erasure/non-appearance of any of the entries is requested to return the entire ballot package to the Embassy so that we can verify the claim," wika ng tanggapan sa embahada sa Wellington, Linggo.
"The Embassy is coordinating with COMELEC accordingly."
Una nang sinabi ng Commission on Elections na dapat mailagay sa "minutes of voting" ang anumang reklamo sa araw ng halalan para ma-countercheck ang anumang anomalya.
Lumabas ang mga balitang ito matapos maibalita ngayong buwan ang ilang "pre-shaded" na balota diumano sa Singapore at Dubai.
Nagsasagawa ng overseas absentee voting para sa mga Pilipino sa ibayong dagat sa ngayon, dahilan para mauna sila bumoto kumpara sa May 9 elections sa Maynila.

Isyu ng Pinoy voters sa ibayong dagat
Sabado lang nang makipagdayalogo ang ilang lider-migrante mula Asya-Pasipiko, Europa, Canada, Amerika at Middle East kay Comelec Commissioner Marlon Casquejo patungkol sa isyu ng mga Pinoy sa ibayong dagat ngayong nagkakasa ng absentee voting.
Aniya, naapektuhan daw kasi nang husto ng pagtapyas ng budget ng Comelec ang eleksyon overseas. Ilan daw dito ang "extreme delays" sa transmission ng balota at election materials sa mga konsulada at embahada, atbp.
"With less than three weeks remaining until May 9, overseas Filipino voters have expressed frustration and dismay because many have yet to receive their ballots, while many ballots have been returned back because of incorrect mailing addresses," ayon sa pahayag ng Migrante International.
"At the start of overseas voting on April 10, Philippine Posts in the US, Canada, Japan, Italy, and Australia were still in the process of sorting and mailing out ballots while many ballots were still in transit to the posts."
Dahil sa kakulangan ng Vote Councing Machines, presidento at field-mobile voting, inirereklamo ngayon ng mga OFWs sa Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates at Saudi Arabia ang apat hanggang anim na oras na pagpila.
Ilang migranteng lider na rin ang nakapansing nagsusuot ng campaign t-shirts ni presidential candidate Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos sa loob ng polling places swa South Korea at Middle East.
"Commissioner Casquejo explained that COMELEC experienced challenges in shipping the ballots and election materials and added that there is a lack of contingency Vote Counting Machines in the event that there is malfunction. Furthermore, he added that cases can be filed against those who commit election offenses," dagdag pa ng Migrante.
