Testimonya ng 5 survivors hawak na ng DOJ-NBI team

MANILA, Philippines - Dumating na sa bansa nitong Biyernes ng gabi mula Hong Kong ang team ng Department of Justice-National Bureau of Investigation (DoJ-NBI) dala ang mga testimonya ng limang survivors, kabilang ang dalawang nakasaksi sa kabuuan ng pangyayari sa loob ng Hong Thai Travel bus, sa madugong August 23 hostage-taking sa Quirino Grandstand sa Maynila.

Ayon kay Justice Secretary Leila de Lima, nakumpleto rin ng nasabing team ang ballistic scanning at proseso noong Biyernes ng umaga sa Hong Kong, subalit kailangan pa umanong isailalim sa actual analysis batay sa resulta ng Integrated Ballistic Identification System (IBSI) dito sa bansa.

“Our team from Hong Kong (HK) brought with them testimonies from five survivors, two of whom were in the bus up to the very end. The English translation of two witnesses will be completed by Monday,” pahayag ni de Lima.

Inaasahang ipiprisinta ang report sa muling pagbubukas ng imbestigasyon ng Incident Investigation and Review Committee (IIRC) bukas upang makahabol umano sa deadline na pagsusumite kay Pangulong Aquino sa Miyerkules.

Magsasagawa din umano ng internal session ang IIRC at Philippine National Police, PNP-Scene of the Crime Operation at NBI sa pagpapatuloy ng sesyon sa Lunes.

“The ballistics examinations were done in the Hong Kong which has sophisticated equipment to get result in one or two days. Dito kasi one month or so,” aniya.

Pag-aaralan din ang mga nakuhang salaysay ng survivors mula sa Hong Kong.

Nabatid na isinoli na rin ng HK Police  ang 3 mobile phones na nai-turn over sa kanila ng NBI na sinasabing hindi pag-aari ng mga turistang survivors.
