Busa, kon unsa man ang iyang mga pamahayag nga may kalabotan sa mga isyo sa eleksiyon, maka-influence kaayo kini sa mga panghunahuna sa katawhan, ilabi na kon mo-endorse siya’g usa ka presidential candidate.
Alang nako, ang presidential endorsement unfair kaayo alang sa ubang mga kandidato nga tingali’g mas maayo pa sila kay sa gi-endorse sa presidente, ug unfair usab alang sa mga botante tungod kay ang ilang pagpili gibasi dili sa kaugalingon nilang kabubot-on, kondili kabutbot-on sa laing tawo.
Busa,sa bag-ong pamahayag ni Presidente Digong Duterte, nalipay kita nga magpabilin siyang neutral as far as the issue on endorsement is concerned.
Ania kining napatik sa Philippine Star: “President Rodrigo Duterte has justified his decision not to endorse a presidential aspirant, saying he wants to avoid suspicions that he is using state resources to promote a candidate.”
So, klaro (hinaut nga dili kini mausab), nga dili siya mo-endorse og kandiato pagka-presidente, kay tingali unya kono’g kaakusahan siya paggamit sa mga resources sa gobyerno pag-promote sa usa ka kandidato.
“Talking about the elections, I do not have a candidate, I do not engage in politicking. I’m just announcing. I do not have a candidate for president. I remain neutral,” nagkanayon si Digong.
So, wala siyay kandidato pagka-presidente. Kining maong pamahayag, alang kini niadtong mga presidential hopefuls nga naghandom ug nanghinaut nga i-endorse sila sa presidente.
Kon naghandom pa kamo sa presidential endorsement, forget it. Paningkamot na lang mo sa inyong kauglingong kusog. Kay sa inyong pag-file sa certificate of candidacy, daku ang inyong pagtuo nga seguro kamong makadaug sa kaugalingon ninyong paningkamot.
Dugang ni Digong: “I am the president and if I side with anyone, others would suspect that I am using the resources of the government. It would be messy. If you are a president and you have the resources at your beck and call, whatever you do, people would suspect that you are using them for a candidate.” Bitaw.
