3 man-panel nakakita og 'probable cause'

CEBU, Philippines - Nakakita og ‘probable cause’ ang three-man panel nga maoy nagtuon sa kasong kidnapping with homicide batok kang Bella Ruby Santos ug sa iyang uyab nga si Ian Charles Griffiths may labot sa kamatayon sa 6-anyos nga batang si Ellah Joy Pique. Si Acting Provincial Prosecutor England Joseph Berciles mibutyag nga ang rekomendasyon sa panel nag-ingon nga adunay “prima facie” o lig-on ang mga ebidensiya batok sa mga suspek aron ipasaka kini ngadto sa korte.

“There is existence probable cause”, matud ni Berciles apan miangkong kinahanglang iyaha pa kining subayon pag-usab ug sulod sa tulo ka adlaw ipagawas niya ang resolusyon.

“I have to review their findings whether or not probable cause really exist, if there is, then I have to approve the resolution but if no probable cause, I have to make another resolution of reversing the recommendation of the panel,” pasabot ni Berciles.

Si Berciles nagkanayon nga kung mapagawas na ang resolusyon sa kaso, ang matag kampo hatagan og 10 ka adlaw nga makaduso sa ilang motion for reconsideration o petisyon aron ma-review kini sa Department of Justice (DOJ).  (BANAT NEWS)
