8 senatorial bets iniendorso ng TUCP

MANILA, Philippines - Iniendorso ng pinakamalaking labor organization ngayong Huwebes ang walo pang senatorial candidates para sa eleksyon sa Mayo 13.

Nauna nang sinuportahan ng Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) si Eddie Villanueva ng Bangon Pilipinas Party.

Bukod kay Villanueva, sinabi ni TUCP secretary general Gerard Seno na susuportahan din ng grupo sina Sonny Angara, Bam Aquino, Risa Hontiiveros, Alan Peter Cayetano, JV Estrada, Loren Legarda, Grace Poe at Cynthia Villar.

"At the end of the day, it has been proven that most of working Filipinos, in public or private sector, will vote for aspirants  who have the heart for improving the current salary rates and those who have track record or platform for creating stable and decent jobs," pahayag ni Seno.

Naitala ng Commission on Elections noong Enero ngayong taon na mayroong 52.01 milyong rehistradong botante.

Mayroon namang 37.3 milyon na manggagawa sa bansa ayon sa National Statistics Office.

Halos may isang milyon ang miyebro ng TUCP.
