Global FC kasali sa AFC

MANILA, Philippines – Matapos ang magandang nilaro noong nakaraang season ng United Football League, nakakuha ng tiket ang Global FC sa AFC President's Cup 2013 ang club version ng AFC Challenge Cup.

 

Inihayag ni Global FC team manager Dan Palami, na nangangalaga din sa Azkals, ang balita sa kanyang Twitter account na @dscpalami ngayon.

 

"We are pleased to inform you that the organizing committee of the AFC President's Cup and Challenge Cup as well as the AFC's competitions committee have approved Global FC's participation in the AFC President's Cup 2013," sabi ni Datu Alex Soosay sa isang liham kay acting Phl Football Federation secretary-general Atty. Edwin Gastanes.

 

"We look forward to your club's participation and further information pertaining to the competition will be sent in due course," dagdag niya.

 

Sinabi ni Palami na excited siya na makalaro sa AFC President’s Cup, na gagawin ang group stage mula Mayo 2 hanggang 12, at final stage mula Setyembre 23-29 sa hindi pa nalalamang venue.

 

"Looking forward to Global FC's participation in the AFC President's Cup 2013," sabi ni Palami. "I have yet to receive the guidelines. I'm just glad they approved our request."

 

Kinapos ang Global FC sa finals noong Disyembre kontra sa hinirang na kampeon na Stallion FC,1-2.

 

Bukod sa Global, magpapadala din ng koponan ang Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Chinese Taipei, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestine, Sri Lanka at Turkmenistan. Joey Villar
