Franco Luna

Franco Luna was a reporter for Philstar.com from 2019 to 2023. He covered the police, transportation, and local governments, but is passionate about persons with disabilities. He was a fellow under the Philippine Fact-check Incubator, an Internews initiative to build the fact-checking capacity of news organizations in the Philippines and encourage participation in global fact-checking efforts. 

In 2021, he became one of the youngest Filipino journalists to be named a panelist at the prestigious Jaime V. Ongpin Journalism Seminar, an annual event that recognizes journalists for outstanding work, for his reporting on the national government's pandemic response amid the enhanced community quarantine. Before reporting for Philstar.com, Franco wrote for The GUIDON, the official student publication of Ateneo de Manila University where he completed his communication degree. He served as Associate Editor for The GUIDON.
