MANILA, Philippines -- The UST Growling Tigers continued their amazing run in the UAAP Men's Basketball after scoring another epic come-from-behind win against De La Salle Green Archers, 81-79, Sunday at the Big Dome.

Kevin Ferrer poured in 11 of his 15 points in the fourth quarter while Marvin Lee hit a key triple down the stretch as the Tigers completed their comeback from 11 points down.

Karim Abdul also came up big with 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Tigers, who erased seven-point deficit at the onset of the payoff period.

A telling 14-2 run put the Tigers on the driver's seat, 73-68, before Prince Rivero tied the game for the last time at 73-all.

Abdul, Louie Vigil and Ferrer sealed the Tigers' seventh win in eight games.

Lee and Vigil each had 13 while Ed Daquioag added 17 points for the Tigers, who still share the lead with the FEU Tamaraws.

Jeron Teng had 16 points for the Archers, who were poised to avenge their 61-76 loss at the hands of the Tigers in the first round when opened the second half with an 11-point lead, 48-37.

The Tigers, however, slowly chipped away the lead then unleashed a killer run in the fourth quarter to steal the game away.

The Archers fell to 4-4 card tied with their arch-rival Ateneo Blue Eagles.
