Austria handa sa bagong estratehiya ni Cone

Russell Cadayona - Pilipino Star Ngayon

“Certainly it was embarrassing and frustrating and thankfully it was Game One and not Game Seven,”  ani Cone matapos malasap ng Gin Kings ang 82-109 kabiguan sa Beermen noong Biyernes sa Mall of Asia Arena sa Pasay City.

“Our guys have to understand that we have to be at the very top of our game to have a chance to beat SMB, and needless to say, we were far, far from it,” dagdag pa nito.

“It’s a ploy, a strategy. They were already preparing their guys for the next game,” wika ni Austria. “It’s just the first game. Knowing coach Tim, they’re now preparing another game plan. They will come back strong in Game Two.”

“They can be down 0-1, 0-2, 0-3 it doesn't matter. There's always a possibility that they can come back because we have proven that,” sabi ni Austria.

Muling sasandigan ng Beermen sina 'three-peat' PBA Most Valuable Player awardee June Mar Fajardo, one-time PBA MVP Arwind Santos, Alex Cabagnot, Chris Ross at Marcio Lassiter katapat sina LA Tenorio, Japeth Aguilar, Sol Mercado, Scottie Thompson, Mark Caguioa at Jayjay Heterbrand ng Gin Kings.
