Explosives sa NAIA plapla, ’di terror attack – AFP
MANILA, Philippines - Plapla lamang umano o uri ng firecrackers ang nasamsam na mga eksplosibo ng NBI kaugnay ng umano’y bigong car bomb attack NAIA Terminal 3 kamakalawa.
Ito ang inihayag kahapon ni AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Gregorio Pio Catapang Jr. na pinawi ang pagkaalarma ng publiko sa mga lumabas na ulat at espekulasyon.
“This was an NBI operation and we also had a briefing about this, we were also monitoring that but it was on and off monitoring system but fortunately it was the NBI who were able to catch up with them” ani Catapang.
Sinabi ni Catapang na hindi ito bahagi ng posibleng ‘terror attack’ dahil mga plapla o firecrackers lamang ang nakumpiska.
“It was plapla, we are awaiting the report of the NBI but as far as the AFP is concerned, it is not a terrorist attack,” paliwanag pa ni Catapang.
