Ayaw makadagdag sa problema ng trapik... Mga imbitasyon kay Digong tablado
MANILA, Philippines – Inihayag ni Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella na tatanggihan umano ni Pangulong Duterte ang lahat ng imbitasyon sa kanya sa Metro Manila para maging guest of honor.
Sa open letter ni Pangulong Duterte na binasa ni Sec. Abella kahapon, wala siyang pagbibigyan na imbitasyon ng anumang grupo o indibidwal sa Metro Manila dahil ayaw niyang makadagdag sa problema ng trapiko.
“While I consider it as a privilege and responsibility to be in touch with the people, I have to decline again and again due to a very simple reason: as President, my travels always include protocols and security measures which create traffic congestion and disturb the flow of everyday lives and activities,” nakasaad pa sa open letter ng Pangulo.
“As it is, we are still being burdened by traffic issues in the Metro Manila area. It only seems prudent and sensible not to add unnecessary stress in our efforts of creating comfortable lives that include all,” wika pa ni Duterte sa open letter.
Humingi naman ng paumanhin ang Pangulo sa mga nag-iimbita sa kanya bilang panauhing pandangal sa Metro Manila dahil hindi niya ito mapagbibigyan.
