Ermito de Sagon ng host Santo Tomas na “remind (supporters) to show respect to the players, coaching staff and the league.”
Ateneo and DLSU execs responded by issuing memos to their respective communities.
“May we remind the University Community to maintain proper decorum at the venue, not only during the UAAP games but for all sporting events our school participates in. Our coaches, players and team personnel greatly appreciate your support and likewise appreciate the respect you continue to show to the opposing team and their community,” sabi ni AdMU board members Em Fernandez at Erika Dy sa mga Ateneans.
Umapela rin si DLSU president Br. Raymundo Suplido sa mga La Sallians.
“May we remind the community to always behave with La Sallian honor, dignity and integrity during UAAP games. Let us rally behind our team and the coaching staff as we continue to uphold the value of sportsmanship inside and outside the sporting venue.”
