Philippines second in Miss Grand International pageant

MANILA, Philippines – Bb. Pilipinas Nicole Ignacio Cordoves (photo, second from left) was adjudged first runner-up to 2016 Miss Grand International Ariska Putri Pertiwi of Indonesia (center) last Tuesday evening, Oct. 25, in West Gate Las Vegas Resort and Casino in Nevada, USA.

With Nicole and Ariska are (from left) Madison Anderson Berríos, Puerto Rico, third runner-up; Faiic Supaporn Malisorn, Thailand, second runner-up; and Michelle Gabriela Leon, USA, fourth runner-up.

Seventy-four contestants competed in the fourth edition of Miss Grand International. Last year’s Philippine bet Parul Shah placed third runner-up.
