Cory Aquino's 82nd birth anniversary commemorated
MANILA, Philippines - Today marks the 82nd birth anniversary of former President Corazon "Cory" Aquino.
One of her daughters, TV host and actress Kris Aquino, posted birthday greetings on her Instagram account.
Netizens also sent their birthday wishes for the late President.

The icon of Philippine democracy, Aquino is the first woman president of the Philippines. She passed away at the age of 76 in 2009.
