2 janitors hurt in SM Aura accident

MANILA, Philippines - Two janitors cleaning windows at the SM Aura mall inside the Bonifacio Global City sustained minor injuries after the gondola carrying them broke free from its cables Tuesday afternoon.

Taguig City Police chief, Sr. Supt. Arthur Asis,  said Percy Guzarin and Michael Laxa were cleaning at about 3:45 p.m. when the gondola broke from its cables sending them falling to ground from the mall's first floor level.

Asis said Guzarin and Laxa were rushed to the nearby St. Luke's Medical Center for treament of minor injuries.

"It was just a short fall. They were treated for bruises," said Asis.
