Grenade hurled at bank's parking lot in Abra

BAGUIO City, Philippines - A fragmentation grenade was lobbed at two vehicles in Bangued, Abra on Sunday night, police reported Monday.

Two still unidentified males on board a motorcycle hurled the grenade at the parking lot of Allied Bank at the corner of Magallanes corner Taft streets, Zone 5, shattering the windows of the parked vehicles, including that of Lester Benedito and Jovelyn Collado.

The grenade attack took place at around 9:48 p.m.

The bank’s glass windows were also shattered due to the explosion.

Police have yet to determine the motive behind the attack.
