Lotto jackpot to reach P102 M

MANILA, Philippines - The jackpot of the 6/55 Grand Lotto is expected to reach P102 million after nobody hit the six-digit winning combination in last Monday’s draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

PCSO acting chairman Jose Ferdinand Rojas said the winning combination was 43-38-31-11-20-45, which had a jackpot of P95,473,108.

Five bettors won P200,000 each after they guessed five digits of the winning combination.

Rojas said ticket sales have increased from an average of P25 million to P32 million.

The Grand Lotto online game is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Meanwhile, a bettor from Quezon City won the P9,939,144 jackpot of the 6/45 Mega Lotto on Aug. 18.

The player hit the winning combination 04-42-28-43-26-12.

Fourteen bettors won P50,000 each for guessing five digits of the winning combination.
