MANILA, Philippines - Most of the country will experience good weather for the next three days despite cloudy skies and rain showers, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said yesterday.
“We would have cloudy skies but the public should not be afraid that this would bring strong rains,” Pagasa weather forecaster Bobby Javier said.
Metro Manila will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers, while Visayas and Northern Luzon will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
Javier said that while it is safe to travel by sea, Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds especially in Tuguegarao and Laoag.
Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. An Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect this region.
