MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya love team “JoshLia,” composed of Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto, shared what could be their “scariest nightmare.”
“There is one time, in my dreams, there is something bad happened kay Josh. Umiiyak ako sa dream ko hanggang paggising ko. Talagang iyak ako ng iyak hanggang narealize ko na dream lang pala iyon,” Julia told select media during JoshLia’s launch of the new Oppo F5.
For Joshua, who had many experiences in supernatural occurrences but refused to share his stories, his worst nightmare was seeing his partner Julia with another guy.
“Nangyari na rin sa akin ‘yon, ang bigat sa pakiramdam paggising mo. Siya (Julia) nakita ko na may kasamang ibang lalake, umiyak ako. Parang secretly may sinasamahan s’yang iba. Paggising ko ang bigat sa pakiramdam.Salamat at panaginip lang,” the “Good Son” actor said.
Since the success of the film “Vince and Kath and James,” the pair skyrocketed to the top. Now, they have an upcoming movie with no other than the “Bad Boy of Philippine movies” Robin Padilla and “Megastar” Sharon Cuneta.
“I am overwhelmed and very excited na makakatrabaho namin sila ni Josh. It is really a great opportunity that we really have to grab right away,” said Julia.
JoshLia admitted that they want to be together always, so having a project together is a blessing for them.
“Personally, gusto ko ka-trabaho si Josh kasi masarap magtrabaho ‘pag kasama mo ‘yung taong nagi-inspire sa’yo, nagpapangiti sa’yo so ‘yung work, hindi sya nagiging work parang mas light sya,” Julia said.
The love team said fans always request for them to have their photos taken together especially when on a date.
“Ayun din yung maganda eh. Nabibigay namin sa kanila and at the same time, gusto rin namin na lumabas so parang hindi namin kailangang magtago sa mga tao na lalabas kami,” said Joshua.
JoshLia joined Sarah Geronimo, Alden Richards, Toni Gonzaga, Gabbi Garcia and Janella Salvador in the unveiling of the new Oppo F5 at the City of Dreams.
The F5 features a 20MP front camera with an F2.0 aperture and a 16MB rear camera with F1.8 aperture. As compared with others, the F5 has a higher resolution (2160x1080) and better photo quality. The cameras can reportedly deliver Bokeh effects, while the front HDR feature solves over-exposure issues.
“Unexpectedly Yours,” starring JoshLia, Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla, will be showing on November 29.
