Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez back together?

MANILA, Philippines — Fans are celebrating on Twitter for pictures showing what is believed to be a reconcilation of one of Hollywood’s most sought-after couples: Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.

In a series of recent pictures posted by Twitter fans, Bieber and Gomez can be seen together merely days after reports came out that Selena broke up with singer-songwriter The Weeknd after 10 months of dating.

Justin and Selena were reportedly spotted to have taken breakfast and cycled together on Wednesday morning. After their brunch, the pair were seen attending a church service together in Los Angeles.

According to news reports, the breakup was a mutual decision between The Weeknd and Selena as they have been distant because of work.

Justin and Selena reportedly first met in 2009. A year later, when Justin was 16 and Gomez, 18, they were spotted sharing pancakes for breakfast and holding hands in a restaurant in Philadelphia.

Back then, Gomez and Bieber were not revealing the real score between them, until pictures of them kissing and hugging on a private yacht in the Caribbean leaked in January 2011. The following month, they began going on red carpet events together and officially admitting their relationship.

The two have also reportedly wrote songs about each other. Selena is said to have come out with "The Heart Wants What It Wants" because she was inspired by her relationship with Bieber, while Justin wrote "Where Are U Now," where Selena is included in the lyrics.

In 2015, Bieber also released “What Do You Mean,” in which Selena’s name was even spray painted in a wall for the music video of the song.

The two’s on-and-off relationship is said to have first ended in 2015 when Selena said in an interview that she found closure “in a very good, healthy way.” She said she and Bieber still see each other and are in “good terms.”

After seeing Justin and Selena together in church a few days back, fans have been wishing that a long-term reconciliation will be on its way and the next time they are seen in a church together, it will be because Selena is in a wedding gown, while Bieber waits for her down the aisle.

Coincidentally, Bieber and Selena were spotted in the church around the same time as Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, another estranged couple that has reunited, were seen donning what seemed like wedding rings.
