MANILA, Philippines — The Grammy-award winning The Chainsmokers returns to Manila for their "Memories... Do Not Open World Tour" concert on September 13, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The concert was named after their latest studio album, which was released last April by Disruptor Records and Columbia Records. The album consists of singles "Paris," "Something Just Like This" and "Honest."

Released last January, "Paris" peaked at No. 6 at the Billboard Hot 100, while "Something Just Like This" took the third spot at the Billboard Hot 100 chart when it was released in February. The second single was a collaboration with British alternative rock band Coldplay. After sending it to Top 40 Radio in July, "Honest" peaked at No. 77 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The New York electronic music duo, composed of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, is also known for their hit songs "Selfie," "Roses," "Don’t Let Me Down" which features Daya, "Closer" with the  vocals of Halsey, and “All We Know,” where the The Chainsmokers partnered with Phoebe Ryan.

Recently, the American duo announced that it will also have a collaboration with Korean Korean pop (K-pop) group BTS.

The Chainsmokers’ Andrew Taggart worked with BTS rappers Rap Monster, Suga, and J-Hope for one of the tracks in the group's upcoming "Love Yourself: Her" album. The collaboration track, full of EDM sound that The Chainsmokers is known for, will be titled "Best of Me." This is the first time that BTS collaborated with an American artist.

With the K-group's rising popularity, it is no surprise that their upcoming album has over 1.05 million pre-orders globally even before its release date on September 18.

BTS recently dropped a short music video trailer, titled “Serendipity,” which featured member Jimin. The trailer has garnered millions of views online.
