MANILA, Philippines — After the Sorcerer’s Stone, would Daniel Radcliffe also get the Iron Throne?

Since last year, the Harry Potter actor has been reportedly “begging” the producers of “Game of Thrones” (GOT) to include him in the cast, even if this entails him getting killed unceremoniously, as other favorite characters did in conjunction with the series’ ethos, "Valar Dohaeris" or “All men must die.”

“If they want to just bring me in and f***ing kill me, I would be so happy to do that,” Radcliffe was quoted as saying in previous interviews with the international press.

Recently, another British artist, Ed Sheeran, has been reportedly thrown into the roster of the HBO-produced TV series, through the prodding of one of his big fans, Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark in the drama.

GOT’s Season 7 will premiere in Manila on July 17. Sheeran, meanwhile, will have a concert in Manila on November 7.

Sheeran currently commands the number one spot on the first ever BillboardPH Hot 100 with “Shape of You.” Because of his red head, he has been often compared to Radcliffe’s Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint, who appeared in Sheeran’s first hit, “Lego House.”

As for Radcliffe, he just attended the Venice Film Festival press conference and premiere, promoted his latest film “Jungle” and posted throwback photos of himself and “Harry Potter” co-stars Emma Watson and Grint.

Watson has since starred in “Beauty and the Beast” as Belle and is now promoting her latest film “The Circle” with Tom Hanks.

Grint, meanwhile, will be back on screen in the British comedy series “Sick Notes,” together with another comeback star, Lindsay Lohan.

Since playing the title character in J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” the United States version of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” published in the United Kingdom 20 years ago, Radcliffe has starred in the New York and London productions of “Equus” and in the 2011 Broadway revival of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.”

His recent films include the horror “The Woman in Black,” the independent flick “Kill Your Darlings,” the sci-fi fantasy “Victor Frankenstein,” the comedy-drama “Swiss Army Man” and the thrillers “Now You See Me 2” and “Imperium.”

Besides acting, he has contributed to many charities, including The Trevor Project for suicide prevention among LGBTQ youth, from which he received the Hero Award in 2011.

Philanthropist, character actor, thespian — Daniel, indeed, wears many hats. But to his legions of fans across the globe, he only wears one hat — that of the wizard Harry Potter.

Like millions of others around the world, Taryn Knight (@taryndraws) first discovered the magical world of Harry Potter when she was a young girl, and hasn’t stopped loving it since. “I just kept reading them over and over,” she says of author J.K. Rowling’s book series. “Something just clicked. I was immediately obsessed.” It wasn’t until Taryn, a Colorado-based freelance illustrator, was older that her love for all things witchcraft and wizardry began to manifest itself in her drawings. “I didn’t do a lot of art when I was first reading the books,” she says. “But once I started drawing regularly, my passion for Harry Potter began to creep in.” Taryn, a self-proclaimed Hufflepuff, is excited about the celebration surrounding #HarryPotter20, the 20-year anniversary of the UK release of the first book in the series, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.” “It seems to be reigniting everyone’s love for the Potter world,” she says. “It feels a bit like that old familiar buzz of a new book release.” ??
