Chris Martin, Coldplay band exec arrive in Manila
MANILA, Philippines — Two days before the British rock band's concert in Manila, Coldplay’s vocalist, Chris Martin arrived in the Philippines.
Chris and the band’s former manager now creative director, Phil Harvey, landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Sunday. They came from Coldplay’s two-day concert in Singapore, which also happened to be the start of their "A Head Full of Dreams" album tour in Asia.
The other members of the British rock band are expected to arrive in the country as Coldplay is slated to perform at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds on April 4,Tuesday night. It will be their first time to hold a concert in the Philippines.

In November, Chris told Manila concert producer MMI live and their fans that the band is excited to perform in Manila.

The Grammy award-winning band’s Manila concert tickets were reportedly sold out in minutes.
After Singapore and Manila, Coldplay will be making a stop in four other countries in Asia, Bangkok, Thailand; Taipei, Taiwan; Seoul, Korea; and Tokyo Japan, while the rest of the album tour will be held in Europe, United Kingdom, Canada and the United States of America.
Coldplay is known for their songs “Fix You,” “The Scientist,” “Viva La Vida,” “Paradise,” “Sky full of Stars,” “Up and Up,” among many others.
